Our Story

SknFolks was born out of a simple but powerful belief: your skin deserves better. Better ingredients. Better care. Better results — without the guesswork of unrecognizable chemicals or the compromise of your values.

What started as a passion for holistic skincare in Charlotte, NC has grown into a community of over 386,000 people who believe that what you put on your body matters just as much as what you put in it. We're proud to be a Black-owned, handmade skincare brand — and even prouder to serve a community that continues to inspire everything we create.

Every SknFolks product is crafted by hand — right here in Charlotte, NC. We don't do mass production. We do intention. Each batch is made with care, attention, and a genuine love for the craft of skincare.

When you open a SknFolks product, you're holding something that was made for you — not for a warehouse shelf. That's a promise we take seriously, and one we're not willing to trade for convenience.

What Goes Into Our Products

We believe you should be able to read — and recognize — every ingredient on our labels. That's why we formulate with nature-first ingredients like shea butter, turmeric, African black soap, vanilla, and botanical extracts that have stood the test of time.

Our ingredient philosophy is simple:

• Recognizable — If you can't pronounce it, we probably don't use it.
• Cruelty-Free — We never test on animals. Period.
